ABOUT THE TEAM

The mandate of Infrastructure and Security Team is to build and maintain a global technology infrastructure, to support inter-connectivity within the Sustainalytics and between the company and its’ clients. In other words, the team is responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting workstations, servers, communication networks and devices within the organization, ensuring the smooth operation and providing maximum performance and availability for their users, while maintaining, supporting and executing security processes and standards.


POSITION PURPOSE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a System Administrator, Infrastructure & Security, you will ensure smooth infrastructure operation with all tools at your disposal. You will be comfortable in server and network management and will have a grasp for security implications of your setup. You will be a trusted advisor for your colleagues. You will gain access to work with Virtualization, Azure and AWS infrastructures and understand role and environment segregation. You will begin your steps in documentation and policy draft.

You will work internally as part of our organization Infrastructure and Security Team.

  • Installing, supporting, and maintaining a hardware and software infrastructure.
  • Support full life cycle of hardware and software infrastructure with Windows OS, Windows Server, Telephony, routers, and switches, and more.
  • Suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems.
  • Analyzing and resolving faults, ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password.
  • Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining, and monitoring network security.
  • Providing training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.
  • Ability to setup a small-scale worksite from provider coordination to configuration and cabling.
  • Ability to work on a region of offices independently.
  • Implementing new solutions and setting up new services on existing infrastructure.
  • Analyze and develop Document Management System workflows.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or equivalent from a recognized technical institute is a plus
  • Certification as a Microsoft Professional or 3-5 years of equivalent industry experience is a plus
  • Experience with Office 365 administration, Skype for Business \ Teams (or equivalent VoIP technology), Exchange, SharePoint is a plus.
  • Knowledge of MS Azure, AWS or other cloud providers is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell and Scripting is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Linux is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, or equivalent Infrastructure management concepts is a strong plus.
  • Can follow procedure and efficiently trouble-shoot network, hardware, and software issues.
  • Possess communication skills for work in an international environment.
  • Customer-oriented attitude is very important.
  • Ability to clearly articulate details to project members and stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of English (verbal and written) is a must.
