Under COVID-19 circumstances, all Sustainalytics employees are now working from home. More than ever, ESG factors are critical to building a more ethical and sustainable global economy. Our teams need passionate colleagues to join us in delivering quality research products to our clients worldwide.
Our recruitment and selection process is continuing via phone or video meetings. New team members are onboarded and start their first day with the company from the safety of their homes.
We rely on virtual team meetings and management practices, as well as a remote buddy program, to support a smooth integration in our virtual offices.
The Country and Human Rights Research Manager oversees the management of the day-to-day activities for a +5-analyst team that focuses on delivering research for a suite of Sustainalytics’ country and human rights products (Country Risk Rating, Country Screening, Human Rights Radar, Country Involvement). The manager is ultimately responsible for the team’s delivery of high-quality and timely research that meets product and quality requirements. He or she will be accountable for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity and efficiency of the team.
Next to having experience in managing a team, the ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge on human rights and/or international politics/relations, experience in successfully delivering research, and project management experience. The ability to work in an international fast-paced technical environment is critical. Being able to communicate clearly at all levels, form strong relationships with stakeholders and proactively identify and manage risks is also essential in this role.
