ABOUT THE SUSTAINABLE FINANCE SOLUTIONS TEAM

The Sustainable Finance Solutions (SFS) Team is a rapid growth business that is responsible for developing and bringing ESG products to multi-national corporations and financial institutions. Our services include green/social/sustainability bond second-party opinions, licensed ESG ratings to corporates and other services that help our clients to provide sustainability insights to investors and lenders.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Associate/Senior Associate will support the global resourcing and delivery of our Opinions Services products, facilitating processes that drive optimal capacity planning for research. The position covers a broad range of operational and quality management tasks; strong analytical, technical, project management and communication skills are required to be effective in this role. The successful candidate will hit the ground running in our entrepreneurial environment by taking initiative and ownership of responsibilities in order to quickly add value to our fast-growing team.

This role will also provide technical research and development support to inform recommendations of process improvements for workload demand forecasting, resource capacity planning, project execution and other operational activities. Collaborating across teams, the successful candidate will support execution of the operational strategy to scale project resource capacity planning and cross-functional alignment in response to market changes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assessment of team capacity and utilization across regions to effectively resource and schedule projects on an ongoing basis
  • Coordinate supply and demand across teams, acting as a point of contact across multidisciplinary teams
  • Leverage and improve data management and modelling tools to understand capacity constraints, working collaboratively across cross-functional teams to resolve issues as they arise
  • Monitor team capacity and utilization against targets to proactively flag concerns
  • Assist in the development of tools and business processes to improve quality assurance and efficiency
  • Assist in the development of data management systems to scale resourcing and delivery of our Opinion Services products
  • Support strategy and implementation of improvements to technology, systems and tools which enable accurate demand forecasting, resource capacity planning, and resource project allocation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in process improvement, capacity planning and/or project management, including 2+ years in related sales and operations planning;
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or PMP designation is a plus;
  • Experience in group facilitation and team coordination
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, SharePoint, PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Automate;
  • Experience in dealing with complex Excel workbooks and other data management tools;
  • Experience developing or supporting data-driven business forecasting and resourcing models;
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across all teams and levels;
  • Strong analytical skills and creative, problem-solving attitude;
  • Flexible mindset, adaptable to a dynamic work environment;
  • Conflict management capabilities to facilitate collaboration towards desired outcome;
  • Working experience in an international culturally diverse environment is a plus;
  • Passion for sustainability and demonstrated interest in sustainable finance is appreciated.
  • Master or Bachelor degree in related discipline (business, technology);
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment;
