POSITION PURPOSE

Sustainalytics is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Bespoke Research team, which is primarily responsible for delivering customized ESG research projects to clients. The ideal candidate will also champion project management best practices and help the broader Research Products team adopt a culture of disciplined project management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage one-off ESG research projects for clients, from drafting the response to the Request for Proposals, to finalizing the deliverable within the quality standards and agreed timeline and budget;
  • Support client relationships and new business development through active engagement with clients, prospects, and client relations teams;
  • Be a champion for structured project management within the Research Products team and help the team to adopt a culture of disciplined project management;
  • Collaborate with other project managers in the Research Products team to develop/share best practices and institutionalize a regular update process among project managers.
  • Master’s degree in related discipline (business, economics, finance and/or IT) or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience;
  • At least seven years of project management or similar work experience preferably in an international context;
  • General knowledge and understanding of responsible investment and ESG across a variety of industries;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including both oral and written skills;
  • Highly organized and detail oriented;
  • Highly skilled at managing a diverse group of stakeholders toward a common goal;
  • Experience with formal change management considered a plus;
  • Alignment with Sustainalytics’ mission, vision and values.
