POSITION PURPOSE

Our Product Owners work closely within Digital Product teams to identify business vision and translate it into documented requirements after a thorough analysis of business workflows and processes. Product Owners are also responsible for coordinating with business stakeholders and the development team to ensure operational stability in their digital product and follow up on any reported issues.

You will be working in an office filled with smart, dynamic, and outgoing people who work hard but also try to make the work environment fun. You will be collaborating with like-minded teams in other offices around the world to provide innovative software solutions to business challenges and as such, teamwork and English communication skills are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify how the product team can create a product that would bring added value;
  • Translate the business requirements into documented technical requirements, workflow diagrams, and scoping documents with functional specifications;
  • Identify inconsistencies in business workflows and possible scenarios;
  • Facilitate communication of either changes in requirements or changes in development between the development team and business owners;
  • Create and groom the product backlog
  • Deliver informative, well-organised presentations;
  • Own and drive product roll-out phases through the entire release management life cycle.
  • Plan, schedule and control a software build through all stages and environments
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and the development or other teams to evaluate issues and provide a resolution;

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate degree in business or engineering; Masters is considered a plus;
  • At least 3 years’ experience working as a business analyst, product owner or product manager;
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
  • Familiarity with financial markets and corporate finance is considered a plus;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
